What a great start to 2010. Yattarna Stud is proud to announce that we have purchased Patona Park Hot Shot.

Hot Shot is a multiple show winner. DOB: 08/07/2007

Sire: Patona Park Fattimus Dam: Patona Park Esha. A big thank you to Sue Ludwig from Patona Prk, thank you for entrusting him in our care. He is a result of many years of select breeding by Patona Park.

We are delighted to announce also that our does for 2010 have been paired with Patona Park Fattimus. We had a number of select doe's paired with this outstanding buck last season. The off spring has at a young age given us 1st place at shows, Champion Miniature Bred and Supreme Miniature bred.

"Fatti" as he is effectionally called by, has been paired with some of our top Show Does, I can not wait to see the off spring from these pairings. Many thanks again to Patona Parkk for allowing us the use of his services.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR

From Yattarna Stud.

I am proud to have seen my Stud go from strength to strength this year. We have been very successful in the Show ring and it is extremely rewarding to see all the careful years of breeding and hard work come to fruition.

Sadly I lost my number one doe, Yattarna Dior earlier this year. Not just no 1 in the Show ring, but number one in my heart. I thank her for the years of joy and love she gave me. I have her daughter Mystic Moon Dancer 10mths of age who I took to our final Show in December, she won her class and had very positive feedback from the judge. She did her mum proud.

This show season Yattarna Stud was awarded:

Supreme Champion x 5

Champion x 12

Reserve Champion x 12

We also achieved numerous other placings.

This year I also made the difficult decision to disperse with my Nuwby breeding program as I wanted to give my full attention to my Pixie program.

The majority of my does are from Patona Park Bandit, I have already paired these girls to a buck from his bloodlines, so am really looking forward to a successful 2010 kidding season.

Thank you to all for your friendship and support. I continually make great friends through our mutual love of miniature goats.

DR HARRY - BETTER HOMES & GARDENS, MAKES A VISIT

We were delighted to have Dr Harry and the film crew from Better Homes & Gardens pay us a visit to film a segment on Australian Miniature Goats. We had a fabulous day and were kept amused by Dr Harry's sense of humour. The film crew were great as well, made everyone, including the stars of the show feel very comfortable. Segment goes to air on the 29th August, channel 7, Better Homes & Gardens.
